The 14-day guarantee
If you are not happy with Trundle, email us within 14 days of being charged and we will refund that charge in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you to sit through a sales pitch first.
This applies to your first payment and to renewal payments alike. It is a voluntary guarantee we offer on top of whatever rights you already have under the consumer law where you live — it never replaces them or gives you less.
How to request one
Email support@gettrundle.com from the address on your account, or reply to the receipt Paddle sent you. Tell us which charge you want refunded. That is the whole process.
We aim to reply within two business days. Once approved, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method; how quickly it appears is up to your bank, and is typically five to ten business days.
Who processes it
Paddle is our Merchant of Record, which means Paddle — not us — is the seller on your receipt and the party that actually moves the money. We authorise the refund; Paddle issues it. You can also contact Paddle directly about a charge, and they will refer the decision back to us.
After a refund
Refunding a charge ends the subscription it paid for, and paid features return to the free tier. Everything on your own computer — your rounds, clips, recordings and settings — is untouched and stays yours. Trundle keeps working on the free tier for as long as you want it.
Cancelling instead
If you simply do not want to be charged again, cancel from your account page. Cancelling keeps your paid features running until the end of the period you have already paid for, and stops the renewal after it. That is usually the better option if you are partway through a period and still using it — a refund ends access immediately.
The limits
We will decline a refund where a request is made well outside the 14-day window, or where an account has repeatedly subscribed and refunded in a pattern that is plainly abuse rather than a change of mind. We would rather say this plainly than quietly apply a rule we never published. If you think we have got a decision wrong, reply and say so — a person reads every one of these.
The free tier
Trundle has a free tier that never expires and needs no payment details, so you can try the application properly before subscribing. We would rather you did that than pay for something that turns out not to suit your setup.
